About Victoria Station

London Victoria Station - located in the city of Westminster in London’s west end - serves over 80 million passengers every year and connects London to Gatwick Airport and Brighton, as well as many other locations in the South and Southeast of England. Named after Victoria Street rather than the Queen, the station has been revamped and enlarged several times over the years with more shopping and other amenities for passengers like updated restrooms and water fountains. • For something really special and personal head over to Patisserie Valerie Lovingly Handmade Cakes. Special cakes can be made to order right there in the store near platforms three and four. Or just buy one for yourself and eat it there.  
• Are you craving a Whopper or a Big Mac? Well, Victoria Station has you covered. McDonald's is located alongside platform two. 
• For chocolate lovers, the Hotel Chocolat has a variety of different chocolate bars and other goodies for you or gifts for that special someone.

• The London Eye: Situated across from the Houses of Parliament on the South Bank of the River Thames, this giant wheel is more than just a ride, it is a 30-minute tour about 440 feet in the air. The glass pods are huge and can seat up to 25 people comfortably. 
• Science Museum: The Science Museum on Exhibition Road is a great place to spend an hour or two. It is not all about science, though. It has all sorts of interesting artifacts and displays, like a collection of commodes, washing machines, and other household items. You can also check out cipher and codebreaking in the Top Secret exhibit and see how good you are at problem-solving at the Engineer Your Future exhibit. Or, learn about the world at the Atmosphere exhibit. 
• Big Ben: We have all heard of Big Ben and have seen it in movies, but you have to see it up close before leaving London. At the northern end of the Houses of Parliament, this giant clock tower was built in 1859. Big Ben stands 315 feet tall, has 334 steps from the ground to the belfry, and the clock dial is 23 feet in diameter.
