About Grand Central Station

Welcome to the heart of the Big Apple! Grand Central Station sits at the bustling intersection of East 42nd Street and Park Avenue in Midtown Manhattan. It's a close second to Penn Station in the race for America's busiest railroad terminal and is the largest railway station in the entire world. This train station is a masterpiece. From the iconic opal-faced clock that graces the main concourse to its cathedral-like architecture, Grand Central is a sight to behold.

This isn't just a place to catch a train; it's a destination in itself. With nearly 100 shops and eateries, plus events happening all year round, you'll never run out of things to do here. If you’ve just arrived in New York and are looking for a place to drop off your luggage while you explore Midtown, remember that we offer affordable luggage storage options near Grand Central Terminal.

Our New York luggage storage services span the entire city, with our trusted partners strategically located where you need them most.

By storing your personal belongings at a Bounce partner storage facility as opposed to lockers you’ll be saving yourself from waiting in long lines. Unlike storage lockers, we also have no size restrictions and can accommodate all oversized items like sports equipment or strollers, not just luggage.

Does Grand Central have luggage lockers?

SUMMIT One Vanderbilt

This isn’t your most affordable option since the fare will likely cost between $65.00 and $75.00.

Another alternative is to take the AirTrain from JFK Airport to Jamaica Station. From there, head to the Sutphin Boulevard / Archer Avenue / JFK Airport Subway Station and hop on Subway Line E. Using public transit, you can take the Q70 SBS bus line from LaGuardia terminal to Woodside Av / 61 St. From there, transfer to train line 7 which will bring you to Grand Central. The subway and bus each cost $2.90, but since they’re valid for up to 2 hours and you can get from the airport to Grand Central in under an hour, you should be able to use the same ticket for your entire journey.
