The Neo-Provençal house where he lived and worked is situated right in the town center, and it’s been repurposed into a museum honoring the time he spent in the city with a well-curated collection. Some personal items and artifacts shed light on the twilight years of Renoir, including his own wheelchair. The house is stunning, with beautiful 19th-century furnishings, a citrus grove outside, and beautiful views of the coast.
Château Musée Grimaldi
The towering 14th-century Grimaldi Castle was once the second residence of Monaco Royalty before being ousted from power centuries ago.
