Store Your Luggage around Palm Beach with Bounce

Palm Beach is a pretty spectacular place to visit. Located in South Florida, it is technically not part of the mainland, being separated by Lake Worth. Originally, named as part of the Lake Worth community, Palm Beach did not become incorporated as its own city until 1911. Filled with glitzy homes, pristine beaches, fantastic shops, and delightful eateries, Palm Beach offers so much for locals and tourists to enjoy.

Only about an hour and a half south of Miami, Palm Beach offers its own cultural experience. It is not all about retirement communities and shuffleboard here; the vibrant nightlife pulses with Latin flair and provides a unique experience. American hotshots and aristocracy, such as the Rockefellers, Kennedys, and Trumps, have made Palm Beach their second home. Come experience the sunny beaches and then explore the museums and galleries that make Palm Beach unique. Spend time relaxing in some of the tastiest restaurants and diners the city has to offer. Whether here for business or pleasure, let Bounce offer short-term storage solutions for your luggage, so you have the freedom to explore the city in style.

Palm Beach City Guide

Top Things to Do

Lounging on the beach, sipping cocktails is not the only activity to enjoy while in Palm Beach. If you are looking for a public beach while here, try Midtown Beach or Phipps Ocean Park. However, if looking to learn more about what makes Palm Beach so exceptional, check out some of the attractions that require more than flip flops and a bathing suit. There are plenty of museums and art galleries to explore while here and still give you time to hit the beach and sink your toes in the sand. Take a minute to check out Bounce’s guide for finding the best places in Palm Beach.

Museums

Finding things to do in Palm Beach is easy, but finding things that will encourage learning and help you appreciate the history of the city can be a little trickier. Spend a warm afternoon indoors exploring art galleries and museums to fully understand what makes Palm Beach so unique.

  • Henry Morrison Flagler Museum: This 75-room mansion was designed during the Gilded Age and offers a distinctive look into that particular era. The mansion was finished in 1902 and was the home of Henry Flagler, an industrialist millionaire who helped incorporate Palm Beach. Exhibitions highlight artists from the Gilded Age, which lasted from 1865 through 1929. Visit the gift shop after wandering through the museum. (Bag Check Policy: Large bags and backpacks are not permitted anywhere on the museum grounds.)

  • Norton Museum of Art: This art museum is home to over 7,000 pieces of art, including American, Chinese, and European art. There is a special wing for photography and contemporary works. Walk through and marvel at works by Monet, Picasso, Pollock, Renoir, and O’Keeffe, just to name a few. (Bag Check Policy: Large bags are to be checked at the reception area before entering.)

  • Ann Norton Sculpture Gardens: Part of the Norton House, the sculpture gardens are laid out on over an acre and feature over 100 different sculptures created by Ann Weaver Norton. There are over 200 more sculptures displayed throughout the Norton House, in the studio, and throughout the gardens. Sit on one of the benches scattered throughout and contemplate the art before you.
