Sepang is a district in West Malaysia that is known for its technology industry. Cyberjaya, Malaysia's answer to Silicon Valley, is located here. And while it remains relatively undiscovered by international tourists, it's a region of Malaysia that is very much on the upswing. If you find yourself in Sepang, you may be surprised by all there is to do here. Make your trip easy by dropping off your bags at a Bounce luggage storage in Sepang. By partnering with local businesses, Bounce makes sure you'll always be able to find a place to store your unneeded bags.
Sepang is known throughout Malaysia as a technological hub. Located in the province of Selangor, this coastal city has a population of close to 200,000 people. The district itself contains several towns, including the capital of Salak Tinggi. The district was formed back in 1975 when neighboring constituencies got together to create the new neighborhood, and it gained municipal status in 2005.
Sepang is best known as the location of Kuala Lumpur International Airport. This is not only the biggest airport in Malaysia, but one of the biggest in Southeast Asia. Though they may not realize it, Sepang is the first glimpse many travelers get of the country. And the airport is a major economic driver of the region, home to the national carrier Malaysia Airlines and a number of other operations.
Most visitors head straight from the airport to the heart of Kuala Lumpur, leaving Sepang out altogether. But this booming district has lots to offer intrepid travelers who want to see another side of Malaysia. And with excellent transportation links to the city, it’s easy to get around and see what Sepang is all about.
Sepang may not have the same tourist draw that nearby Kuala Lumpur does. But this district offers the opportunity to see an undiscovered side of Malaysia. If you're interested to see the real life of the country, Sepang is a great place to do it. Plus, there are a number of attractions worth exploring.
Experience high-speed thrills at Sepang International Circuit. One of the district's main claims to fame, this racetrack hosts Formula One races, bike races, and all kinds of other high-octane events. No matter when you visit, chances are good you'll be able to see a race and soak up the atmosphere of this legendary track.
Get some tranquility at Paya Indah Wetlands. This wildlife sanctuary preserves acres of wetlands and shows the more natural side of the district. Home to exotic marsh plants and trees, the swamp is a great place to stretch your legs, enjoy a boat trip, and even see charismatic wildlife like hippos and crocodiles.
Explore the history of Malaysian industry at the National Automobile Museum. The fascinating exhibits here explain the long history of automotive transport in the region, and you'll see beautiful cars from every era of the 20th and 21st centuries.
Get a taste of Malaysian culture at the Sultan Abdul Samad Mosque. This stunning building is still a functioning house of worship, but you can visit whenever services are not being performed and enjoy the Islamic-inspired architecture.
Take a walk on the wild side at Klia Jungle Boardwalk. This stunning botanical garden is home to jungle plants and several waterfalls you can explore on the well-laid-out boardwalk. It's a great way to get some fresh air and exercise while staying close to the airport.
The Sepang Omnibus connects the airport with Nilai station. It also serves Sepang International Circuit, and additional buses are provided on race days.
Train lines KE1, KT5, KE3, KT6, and KT4 all serve the Sepang district.
The Express Rail Link connects Kuala Lumpur International Airport with Kuala Lumpur Sentral Station. It takes around 28 minutes for the express train to travel between the airport and the city.
The presence of Kuala Lumpur International Airport makes Sepang one of the most visited districts in Malaysia. No matter if you find yourself here on a business trip or for vacation, Sepang is hard to avoid. Whether you've come to the area to experience its unique attractions or just looking to kill some time on a layover, you'll be able to enjoy yourself much more if you don't carry more heavy bags than you need to. Drop off your unneeded belongings at a Bounce luggage storage in Sepang, and you'll be able to see what the area has to offer.
The Petronas Twin Towers are an icon of Kuala Lumpur. Once the tallest buildings in the world, the towers have since been surpassed as the record holders. However, at nearly 1500 feet high, the towers are still incredibly impressive. At the base of the towers you'll find a sprawling shopping mall and a tranquil park, while the observation deck provides incredible views over the city and beyond. The towers can get crowded, so make your trip easier by dropping off your bags at a Bounce luggage storage before you visit.
Explore the ancient culture of Malaysia at the Batu Caves. The caves are home to a stunning Hindu temple, one of the most popular Hindu shrines outside India. The temple dates back to the nineteenth century and is an important site in the cultural life of the region. Large bags are not permitted inside, so make sure you drop them off at a Bounce luggage storage locker before you go.
Enjoy a shopping experience like no other at Kuala Lumpur's central market. This vibrant and bustling place is an echo of Malaysia's traditional markets and is a fantastic place to pick up souvenirs and gifts and enjoy some of the local cuisine. Drop off your unneeded bags at a Bounce luggage storage location before diving in to this cultural highlight.

This was my first time using this service and it worked seamlessly. I had no problems at all dropping my bag off at NYC Racquet Sports and it was just as easy picking it up. This location is a couple blocks from Penn Station, so it was perfect for exploring Manhattan for several hours before catching the train to Newark Airport for a late night flight. Will definitely use this service on future trips!
Really excellent service, right around the corner from A/C/E trains at Penn Station in New York. Popular and busy restaurant, too — but no one kept me waiting to drop off or pick up a bag.
This place is awesome, it’s near Macy’s and other souvenir shops, nearby food outlets too and near the Penn station in New York. This is the best place to leave your luggage for last minute shopping before you head to the airport via Penn station. Plus the Employees are very courteous and kind
