Chase Center Visitor Guide 2021: Everything you need to know

24 March, 2021by Bounce

Located right in the Mission Bay neighborhood of San Francisco, Chase Center is one of the country’s premier indoor arenas. Opened in 2019, the state-of-the-art arena is the home of the NBA’s Golden State Warriors, who moved to the city from their previous home in Oakland when Chase Center was completed.

As well as the 18,000 seat arena itself, Chase Center is home to tons of shopping and dining options to keep you entertained before and after the game. Plus, thanks to its location in the city of San Francisco, there’s no end of things to do close to the arena. Chase Center is ideally located for further exploration of the city, so drop off your unneeded bags at a Chase Center luggage storage locker and enjoy your trip.

Chase Center bag policy

Backpacks of any size are not permitted inside Chase Center. Other bags are allowed, but cannot exceed 14 inches by 14 inches by 6 inches in size. All bags are subject to search by security staff on entrance to the arena. The stadium does have a storage area for larger bags located on Warriors Way, but it’s often busy on game days. It might be better to track down a Bounce luggage storage close to Chase Center to drop off your bags before going to the arena so that you can avoid the crowds.

Chase Center food policy

Chase Center’s food policy at least has the advantage of being clear: no outside food or drink is allowed inside the arena. If you have special dietary requirements, it may be possible to get an exemption by emailing the stadium well in advance of your event.

Luckily, Chase Center has dining options to suit almost anyone. Bakesale Betty is the place to go for delicious fried chicken, while Big Nate’s BBQ offers pulled pork and brisket. City Bistro brings a taste of Louisiana to the Bay Area, and Hot Dog Bill’s is the best place to grab a hot dog or their famous burgerdog. There are also healthy options available from Kaiser Permanente. In short, you won’t go hungry when visiting Chase Center.
