About Disney Springs

Located in Lake Buena Vista in Orange County, Florida, Disney Springs is the highlight for many who visit Walt Disney World. However, you don’t need to be visiting Disney to enjoy Disney Springs. This 120-acre plaza has everything you need under one roof, from shopping to dining and even entertainment. Since 1975, Disney Springs has been offering locals, as well as visitors, an outdoor oasis for some retail therapy and relaxation.

The shopping section is separated into four areas, similar to a theme park, including the West Side, Town Center, Landing, and Marketplace. The West Side is an exposition center with a 24-screen theater, food, and games. Town Center has a central business district with unique architecture and tons of shops to peruse. The Landing is a sort of transportation hub where you can find the marina, bars, a boathouse, and cruises on Lake Buena Vista. The Marketplace is the place to enjoy all sorts of shopping, eating, and more.

In fact, there are 104 kiosks, boutiques, pavilions, and stores to choose from as well as 64 places to grab some grub. From lounges to a quick pick-up, you can usually find whatever you want here. There are also 23 attractions, including shows, events, and even some games to entertain everyone. Don’t worry about lugging around your bags, because Bounce partners with several places in the area where you can drop off your bags before touring the plaza.

  • SeaWorld Orlando: Walt Disney World isn't the only set of theme parks in the area. Just under 10 miles to the northeast, SeaWorld is a theme park with sea animals as well as over a dozen rides, including a sky tower and four coasters.
