Store your luggage around Hermosa Beach with Bounce

Situated between Redondo and Manhattan beaches, Hermosa Beach is the third of the southern bay beach cities of Los Angeles. Blessed with perfect California weather, plenty of white sand, and those breath-taking sunsets, this is a great place to spend some time. There is more to this town than just beach volleyball and working on your tan, though those two options do exist of course.

Here you will find small bespoke shops, friendly bars, and plenty of restaurants. What’s more, a walkway called the strand allows people to stroll along the coast for miles. This is an area that attracts artists and craft makers so if you are looking for an unusual gift you shouldn’t have trouble finding one.

If you are burdened by heavy bags you are going to need to think carefully. You don’t want to be dragging them around with you and many of the tourist attractions and shops won’t allow you access if you are carrying anything larger than a small bag.  Fortunately, there are many Bounce luggage storage services in the area and this is the best way to overcome this problem.

Luggage Storage Around Hermosa Beach

Storing bags often poses a problem for the traveler. Bounce luggage storage understands this issue completely and so they have partnered with local businesses so that you are able to store your bags at convenient locations. You can book online to ensure there is a space and they even offer free insurance so that your stay is completely worry-free.

Things to do

Although this town only runs for fifteen blocks, don’t let its diminutive size lead you into thinking you will be short of things to do. In addition to the fabulous beach and attractive pier, there is a thriving cultural scene here that is easy to overlook.

Museums: This area has one local museum but is teeming with art galleries and collectives. Whether you are a serious buyer, or merely someone who likes to admire beautiful local art, there will be works here for you to enjoy.

  • Formosa Beach Historical Society and Museum:

Situated in what was once Pier Avenue Junior High, this community-funded museum contains more than 3500 items designed to celebrate and commemorate the city of Formosa. It also plays host to both the Volleyball Hall of Fame and the Surfer's Walk of Fame so there is something here for everyone. They don't have facilities to store large suitcases so consider dropping large bags at a Bounce facility nearby.

  • Hermosa Beach Artists Collective: If you enjoy admiring the visual arts then this is one for you. This community-based project sets out to encourage and advance local artists by placing their work in front of an audience. In addition to displaying their work, the collective also runs courses for both adults and children. This local community project doesn't have the capacity to store large luggage items but there is a nearby Bounce luggage storage facility.
  • Artlife Gallery: Here is another one for the art lover. This gallery shows off the works of local artists and you will be surprised at just how much talent there is living in this area. There are a number of different mediums displayed, including sculpture. Like most galleries, they don't like people carrying large bags that could accidentally cause expensive damage. Bounce luggage storage services have got you covered here.

Shopping: Hermosa Beach is a delightful place to hang out, but let's face it, sometimes you just have to shop. Here you will find both traditional shopping outlets with recognizable brands as well as smaller boutiques where you will be able to buy unusual gifts.

  • Park Pacific Shopping Center: Anchored by many of the well-known brands such as Trader Joe's, Bath and Body Works, and Foot Locker, this shopping center will have all that you would normally need. There are plenty of restaurants and coffee shops and many of these too will be familiar names.
  • Hermosa Avenue: If you are the sort of shopper that prefers to wander rather than find yourself in a mall or shopping center, then you might like Hermosa Avenue. This road offers all of the basics and has been widely renovated over the last few years. Along with Starbucks, you will find plenty of independent restaurants and coffee shops.
  • Uncorked: If you have been sipping wine while admiring the sunsets, it may well have reminded you that California is wine country. You might want to capitalize on this fact by dropping in at a wine merchant that really knows their wine. This outlet stocks over 600 different wines as well as craft beers. They also regularly host live music events.

Dining:
Nothing adds to a great getaway more than a great meal and at Hermosa Beach you are going to have plenty of options to tickle your taste buds with. Being on the coast, seafood is always a good bet, but there are all of the other options you would expect from a sophisticated destination.

  • Seafood:  You would expect good seafood here but Fishing with Dynamite takes seafood to a whole new level. Mentioned in the Michelin Guide and serving everything from shellfish to catch of the day, you can even follow up with Key Lime pie. Don’t worry if you can’t get in there. There are plenty of other ocean options such as Blu Water Grill and Rock’n Roll Fish.
  •  Restaurants with a view: Let's face it, with a view like that at Hermosa Beach, it is not always going to be easy to tear yourself away. The good news is that you won't have to. Good Stuff Restaurant combines the beauty of the ocean with plenty of good food. It makes a great place to enjoy a waffle and cream breakfast. La Playita and Hennessey's Tavern might be better for later in the day or to catch the sunset as you dine or sip one of the local wines.
  • Mexican: California has a long-standing relationship with Mexico and so it will come as no surprise to discover that there are some great Mexican restaurants at Hermosa Beach. Palmilla is so good that you will think you are in Mexico. Try their fish tacos to combine both the Mexican and seafood experience. Other good ones to consider are Rabano and Riviera Mexican Grill.
