Nha Trang is a beautiful beach town in Vietnam that is a major tourist attraction. Also known as Kauthara, the city is home to the Po Nagar Tower built by the Cham people in 781 CE. While you are in Nha Trang, do not forget to visit some of the many pagodas, like the Long Son Pagoda, with its 78-foot-tall Buddha statue.
Many who visit go there for scuba diving and backpacking. With an average high of 86 and an average low of 75, anything you want to do outside is fun. Backpack through the mountains on some of the trails, visit one of the gorgeous parks, or just sit and catch some rays at the beach. In fact, Nha Trang Bay is one of the most beautiful bays on the planet where you can find some amazing spots to relax.
With white-sand beaches and turquoise waters clear as glass, Nha Trang is always full of beachgoers and travelers who enjoy the many water activities. Surfing and paddleboarding are two of the most popular sports, with scuba diving and snorkeling right after. You can also take a mud bath or enjoy the hot springs in the hills of the beautiful city at one of the many spas.
You cannot bring your luggage with you to many of the tourist attractions in Nha Trang, such as the museums and monuments. And trying to wheel one of those suitcases in the sand is not easy to do. Visit one of our Bounce locations to leave your things for safekeeping while you explore. Locals can use our service as well. Just download the app and find the nearest spot.

Although Nha Trang does not have dozens of museums like other tourist attractions, they do have some of the best. Whether you are into history, wildlife, ocean life, or art, you can find it all here.
National Oceanographic Museum of Vietnam: You can see over 20,000 specimens, both alive and preserved at this college museum on Cau Da. The humpback whale skeleton and the large dugong skeleton are really cool to see up close. Check out the fishing boats and tools while you are there too.
The Yersin Museum: The Yersin Museum on Tran Phu is dedicated to Dr. Alex Yersin, a popular scientist in Vietnam in the late 1800s. Although he was from Switzerland, he spent much of his life in Vietnam and even discovered the microbe to help cure the bubonic plague. See his office and many of his tools and other artifacts as well as dioramas and a film about his life.
Khanh Hoa Museum: Found on Tran Phu, the Khanh Hoa Museum has almost 10,000 artifacts and thousands of photos and documents to see. Some of the most interesting items include a weapon collection from the 15th to the 18th century, ancient coins from the 10th century, and a stone axe from the Con Hamlet culture 3,500 years ago. Much of the items were found at six shipwreck sites, while others were found in different archeological sites in Vietnam.
