It gives guests a sneak peek on how a wealthy Thai family lived years ago. The first floor is open to visitors, but the second floor isn’t because the owners are still residing in the mansion. If there’s one thing that all travelers love to do in Phuket, it has to be eating. From street food stalls to fine dining restaurants, the city is filled with dining options that serve everything from fresh seafood and local Thai food to international flavors and cuisine. It’s hard to narrow down the list, but here are some of the must-try restaurants when in Phuket. 

• Blue Elephant: Located in the elegant Phra Pitak Chinpracha Mansion, this fine dining restaurant is one of the most well-known eateries in the city and is considered a local institution. Headed by chef Khun Noroor Somany Steppe, the restaurant serves Thai gastronomy dishes such as black crab curry, duck with tamarind sauce, and other one-of-a-kind meals. The restaurant is also a cooking school for those who want to learn how to make signature dishes. 
• Thong Dee: The Kathu Brasserie: Found in Kathu, this restaurant has a Thai-inspired aesthetic. It features a unique menu of both Thai and Western dishes as well as house specialties that fall within any budget and occasion. 
• Mom Tri’s Kitchen: One of the oldest restaurants in Phuket, Mom Tri’s is among the select few that serves authentic Thai cuisine, including legit Phuket food and some of the best seafood in the city. The Thai-style restaurant is located in Kata Noi beach and sits on a small cliff, giving the diners a gorgeous view.
