Aberdeen Train Station is the one and only train station in the city, servicing a range of different trains including inter-city, local, regional and even sleeper trains. The station is managed by Abellio ScotRail and transports passengers all around Scotland and Great Britain.
The station was built between 1913 and 1916 as a replacement for a previous station that stood in the same spot. It was the last major train station to be built in the country during this time so has been awarded Category A status by the Historic Environment Scotland. Over the years the station has been developed and expanded to cater for new lines, helping to connect Aberdeen with other major destinations across Great Britain. The 5-platform station now plays an important role in the transportation of the city’s residents as well as travelers looking to get to and from the city.
The port city of Aberdeen sees a lot of people passing through, either for work or travel. The train station plays an important role in this movement and helps to get people to the city and home again. While many people visit for work, the city has its own attractions that make it a worthwhile place to visit in its own right.

Craigievar Castle: This castle looks like something straight out of a fairytale. With a pinkish colour and iconic turrets, it is worth a visit to see this impressive piece of architecture for yourself.
Codona’s Amusement Park: Looking for some fun? Head to Codona’s Amusement Park! It was opened in 1970 and still offers a good time for all visitors, with a range of thrill rides and attractions to choose from.
The Gordon Highlanders Museum: Learn all about the history of the Scottish army at Gordon Highlanders Museum. With uniforms and weaponry on display, you can guide yourself through the exhibits at your own pace using the interactive maps.
Aberdeen Beach: Take a relaxing walk along Aberdeen Beach and enjoy the scenery. Dolphins do live in the area, although it is more common to see them on a tour.
Brig O’Balgownie: This bridge is thought to be the oldest in all of Scotland, dating back to the 13th Century. It is very well known and a popular site among visitors who may recall the bridge from Lord Byron’s famous poem, Don Juan. Even if you’ve never heard of it, the bridge is worth checking out for its beautiful backdrop, the Black Neuk lake, especially if it has snowed.

This was my first time using this service and it worked seamlessly. I had no problems at all dropping my bag off at NYC Racquet Sports and it was just as easy picking it up. This location is a couple blocks from Penn Station, so it was perfect for exploring Manhattan for several hours before catching the train to Newark Airport for a late night flight. Will definitely use this service on future trips!
Really excellent service, right around the corner from A/C/E trains at Penn Station in New York. Popular and busy restaurant, too — but no one kept me waiting to drop off or pick up a bag.
This place is awesome, it’s near Macy’s and other souvenir shops, nearby food outlets too and near the Penn station in New York. This is the best place to leave your luggage for last minute shopping before you head to the airport via Penn station. Plus the Employees are very courteous and kind
