About Belfast Station

Belfast Central Station (known as Belfast Lanyon Place since 2018) is a train station and important transport hub in Belfast, Northern Ireland. Previously known as Belfast Central, Lanyon Place is one of two main train stations in Belfast along with Great Victoria Street. It's one of the busiest train stations in Northern Ireland, serving over two million passengers each year. Lanyon Place provides lines to destinations across Ireland, including Dublin, Derry, and Newry.

One of the newer train stations in Northern Ireland, Belfast Lanyon Place, was constructed in the 1970s. Over the last 20 years, Belfast Lanyon Place has been refurbished several times to update its amenities and deal with increasing passenger demand. Despite being called Belfast Central until 2018, it's slightly further away from the city center than Great Victoria Street station.

As one of Belfast's main train stations, Belfast Lanyon Place is the ideal place to start exploring Northern Ireland's capital.

Since opening in 2012, it has become one of the leading tourist attractions in the world. The museum is located within Belfast's Titanic Quarter, where the ship was launched in 1911.
  There are some amazing exhibits at the Belfast Titanic. One highlight from the museum is a mini-car tour that leads visitors through a recreation of the shipyard that built the Titanic. Another interesting exhibit shows images of the Titanic sinking alongside recordings from survivors telling their stories. There are 110 different species in the zoo, including rare and endangered species like Scottish wildcats, western lowland gorillas, and Asian elephants. The zoo also regularly runs feeding displays and talks, so you can learn more about your favorite critters. There's also a few different restaurants and a picnic area which provides superb views of Belfast.
