The Charlotte Douglas International Airport is a civil-military airport located in Charlotte, North Carolina. The building was constructed in 1935 and was initially known as the Charlotte Municipal Airport. Route: The bus will take you directly from the airport to the Charlotte city center in about half an hour. Starting from the airport, walk to the Airport Terminal bus stop and hop on the number 5 bus.
