How to get to Mykonos Town
The quickest way to get to Mykonos Town is to fly. Flights from Athens International Airport Eleftherios Venizelos (ATH) to the Mykonos International Airport (JMK) are offered year-round. The airport is 45 minutes away on foot from the center, which is very reasonable. Alternatively, you can drive from the airport to the town center in under 10 minutes. Taxis are available at the airport and you can also book private transfers ahead of time.
There are also fast and slow ferry options to ride to Mykonos via Piraeus and Rafina. The slow ferry can take you nine to ten hours to get across to Mykonos, while the high-speed hydrofoils will get you to Mykonos in a short two and a half hours.
