About Clarke Quay
Singapore’s Clarke Quay is located on Singapore’s riverside, just upstream from the popular Boat Quay. Historically, Clarke Quay was a mooring location for small boats which worked to carry goods up the river from ships that entered the port. In the latter half of the 20th century, a restoration project transformed Clark Quay from an abandoned neighborhood on a polluted river into a revitalized district full of historical buildings. The area is now known and loved for its lively nightlife and restaurant scene, including a number of floating pubs. There are shopping plazas, river cruises, and all kinds of attractions to indulge in Clarke Quay. It’s a wonderful place to visit to wander and admire architectural heritage as well.
During the day, Clarke Quay is packed with cultural attractions and tasty eateries.
