Frequently
asked questions

  • How much does luggage storage cost in Tarragona?

We charge from €5.00 per day (24 hours) for luggage storage in Tarragona.

  • Does Tarragona have luggage lockers?

Yes, but they're not always the best option. Luggage lockers can fill up quickly and may be unavailable when you need them. Some luggage lockers may be too small to fit large or bulky items. Unlike luggage lockers, we don't charge per hour and instead charge a flat rate for 24 hours of storage. We also have partners who watch over your stuff to make sure it's safe, and can answer any questions you may have or give you advice on what to do in Tarragona.

  • How does Bounce luggage storage work?

We partner with local businesses around the world who have secure spaces to store luggage for travelers. Just tell us how many bags you have and when you need storage, and we'll show you convenient places you can keep your stuff safe while you explore.

Booking online is super easy and only takes a couple of minutes. To keep our partners and your stuff safe, we'll show you the address of the store once you book online. When you're ready, head to the store and show the Bounce Partner your booking confirmation so they can take your bags and securely store them right away. Then you can enjoy your day without having to worry about your bags!

To pick up your bags, show the Bounce Partner your booking confirmation and they'll hand over your stuff. That's it!
  • Where is my luggage stored?

We only partner with trusted businesses who have a dedicated, secure place to keep your luggage safe. Some businesses may store luggage behind a counter that's off-limits to customers, while others may have storage rooms or closets for your luggage. But no matter where you choose to leave your luggage, our partners will keep it safe.

  • What can I store with Bounce?

Luggage, backpacks, gym bags, and more! Bounce is like having a personal storage facility for your stuff anywhere you go, so you can leave much more than just luggage with us. Whether you want to store your luggage after checking out of your Airbnb or want to drop off your work bag before hitting happy hour, we've got you covered.

We don't charge extra for oversized items, but some special items might need to be approved before you can store them. For example, surfboards, guitars, car seats, bicycles, or skis take up a lot of space, so let us know if you have them. We can check with the Bounce Partner for you to make sure they have room for your stuff.
  • Is there hourly luggage storage in Tarragona?

Yes, but many companies charge per hour and costs can add up fast. We charge one price for 24 hours of storage, so storing your stuff is more affordable in Tarragona.

  • How long can I leave my luggage with Bounce?

Whether you need storage for a couple of hours or a couple of days, we've got you covered! Just put in the dates and times you need luggage storage and we'll show you all of the available locations on our map. For long-term storage lasting more than a week, reach out to us and we'll help you find a convenient location.

If you're already storing your stuff but you need more time, you can add more time from your booking details page. Just make sure the store will be open and you can get your bags before your new pickup time.
  • How do I change or cancel my booking?

Plans change, we get it! If you need to change or cancel your booking for any reason, the best way to do it is from your booking details page in the Bounce app. You can edit the dates, drop-off and pick-up times, and number of bags. You can also cancel your booking or rebook at a nearby store. If you can't find your booking details, check the email address you used to make your booking. You can change your booking by following the link there, or reach out to us if you need support.

About Tarragona

Tarragona is a beautiful and wonderful travel destination. Located on Spain's Mediterranean coast, around 60 miles south of Barcelona, it is blessed with a warm ocean and seemingly endless sunshine. Those things alone are often enough to make a place worth visiting.

Aside from its Mediterranean location, Tarragona is also a city with ancient roots. Its founding date is as far back as 218 BC when it began as a Roman military camp. By 45 BC, Julius Caesar named it a Roman colony, and it is still considered to be one of the most important Spanish Roman towns.

Nowadays, much of Tarragona's wealth comes from its port and its University. Tourism is also an important part of the local economy, aided partly by Spain's most popular theme park, PortAventura World. Along with the theme park, Tarragona boasts Roman ruins, museums, gorgeous beaches, and fantastic seafood.

Wondering where you’ll store your backpacks and bags while visiting this gorgeous city? Store luggage and anything else that’s holding you down at one of our highly-rated store partners in Tarragona. Then, see the sights without the burden of heavy bags.

Tarragona Amphitheater

Live out your gladiator dreams at Tarragona Amphitheater, locally known as the Amfiteatre de Tarragona. Built in the 2nd century AD, this Roman arena is partially ruined by age, which only makes it more atmospheric. When it was built, this impressive structure could hold close to 15,000 audience members. It has a fantastic location overlooking the Mediterranean Sea, so bring your camera and take some photos for the scrapbook.

Tarragona Amphitheater bag policy

We’re not quite sure about this landmark's bag policy, so it’s not guaranteed that you’ll be allowed to bring your suitcase along on your visit. It’ll be easier to walk around the cathedral and surrounding area without your belongings. Store your luggage at a Bounce baggage storage location for a few hours while sightseeing.

Roman Wall of Tarragona

Appreciate Tarragona's historic importance with a tour of the Roman walls. The city walls date back to the 2nd century BC and are the oldest Roman structures conserved outside of Italy. They originally spanned 3,500 meters long, although today only about 1,100 meters are still standing. The Romans weren't the only ones who needed to defend Tarragona, however. Other rulers added to the fortifications throughout the following centuries, and a walk along the ramparts takes you through every chapter of Tarragona's long history.

Part Alta

Lose yourself in Part Alta. These narrow streets and old stone buildings were once the heart of the ancient city. Now, they make the perfect place to wander and experience the beauty of Tarragona. Plus, you’ll find no end of bars and restaurants to keep you refreshed.

Tamarit-Punta de la Mora

Experience the natural environment along the Tamarit-Punta de la Mora coastline. A golden beach leads to a rugged coastline studded with pine forests and full of tiny secluded coves. It's a great place to stretch your legs and enjoy the beauty of the Mediterranean.

Shopping isn’t all there is to do here, however. Parc Central also has its very own multi-screen cinema, plenty of restaurants, and a products and services area with free Wi-Fi, a play area for kids, recharging spots for phones, scooters, bikes, and electric cars, and more.

The bakery department also serves ready-to-eat snacks, pastries, and baked goods.
