Originally called the Omni Complex, the CNN Center has grown into a large complex of restaurants, shops, attractions, and, of course, the headquarters for Cable News Network, CNN. Built in 1976, the main studios and newsrooms are located inside the CNN Center. Sign up for a general tour where you get an up-close and personal look at how CNN operates. A VIP tour of the CNN newsroom and studios includes meeting one or more of the CNN journalists or commentators available on select dates. Ask about the VIP tour when purchasing tickets. Warner Media, a subsidiary of AT&T, has offices at the CNN Center as well. 

The Omni Hotel is part of the center and is home to an amazing atrium food court with delicious southern fare and traditional American favorites. The Omni Coliseum is connected directly to the CNN Center, and the Centennial Olympic Park is adjacent to the center. Being in the heart of downtown Atlanta, the CNN Center is a bustling business district. It's filled with locals and tourists continually coming and going, making it one of the city's busiest locations. 

Fun Fact: The escalator in the atrium of the CNN Center is listed in the Guinness Book of World Records for being the longest freestanding escalator in the world at 196 feet long. It was originally built for the theme park that first called the building home.

Once his father retired, King, Jr. took over the senior pastor's duties at this church. This historic site sees over 500,000 visitors each year and is one Atlanta’s biggest attractions.
