Australia is a big place. Naturally, a place that large also has massive cities to boot. However, Australia also has some of the largest malls in the world. The Direct Factory Outlets (DFO) Brisbane is a prime example of what we’re talking about; this enormous shopping outlet houses dozens upon dozens of stores and salons. DFO Brisbane is a part of the Skygate precinct. That means this outlet is one of the first sights that visitors will glimpse when they touch down at the Novotel Brisbane Airport. Guests can also see some of Brisbane’s other local amenities, like Golf Central BNE.
DFO Brisbane is more than just a shopping outlet. Numerous events and festivals are held here each year. In 2019, DFO Brisbane held a large Job Fair event. Live performances are also held here during certain times of the year; Easter, Halloween, and Christmas are some of DFO’s busiest times. Case in point, the DFO Brisbane is a shopping center and event hub unlike any other.
DFO Brisbane has plenty of stores to shop at; major name brand stores like Adidas, Fila, Levi’s, and Nike can all be found at the outlet. There’s also a slew of restaurants and food stands within the DFO. Thanks to its location, this outlet is just a short walk away from some of Brisbane’s other major tourist attractions. The Lone Pine Koala Sanctuary is located nearby. Visitors can also hitch a ride on the City Cat, a large ferry that sails from St Lucia to Hamilton. The Brisbane Botanic Gardens are a staple of the city’s culture. Colloquially known as the Toowong Botanic Garden, this sprawling park is located at the base of Mount Coot-tha. Back in 1970, the Brisbane City Council laid the foundations for this popular park. By the time it opened in 1976, the gardens had become a huge hit with visitors.
Some of the gardens’ standout features include a Bonsai House, its Exotic Forest, and the National Freedom Wall. The Sir Thomas Brisbane Planetarium is located nearby, opposite of the gardens’ entrance, in fact. Guests are asked not to bring dogs or excessive amounts of luggage with them when they visit.

This was my first time using this service and it worked seamlessly. I had no problems at all dropping my bag off at NYC Racquet Sports and it was just as easy picking it up. This location is a couple blocks from Penn Station, so it was perfect for exploring Manhattan for several hours before catching the train to Newark Airport for a late night flight. Will definitely use this service on future trips!
Really excellent service, right around the corner from A/C/E trains at Penn Station in New York. Popular and busy restaurant, too — but no one kept me waiting to drop off or pick up a bag.
This place is awesome, it’s near Macy’s and other souvenir shops, nearby food outlets too and near the Penn station in New York. This is the best place to leave your luggage for last minute shopping before you head to the airport via Penn station. Plus the Employees are very courteous and kind
