Taxi

A taxi provides the quickest way to travel between Brisbane Airport and Roma Street Station. Without traffic, the journey only takes around 16 minutes. However, it is a more expensive option, costing between $30 and $40 one-way.

Getting around Brisbane from Roma Street Station

Manly Beach

It's not really a trip to Australia if you don't spend any time on the beach. Manly Beach is one of the closest beaches to Brisbane - even though, under the swaying palm trees, it feels a lot further away than it really is.

This charming seaside town is packed with great restaurants where you can enjoy delicious seafood, along with incredible ocean views and places to swim. You can easily reach this suburban town in about 40 minutes from Roma Street Station by taking the SHCL train directly from Roma Street to Manly Station. Once you're there, the town is very walkable, and it can give you a real taste of quintessential Australian beach life without having to travel far from the city.
