Frequently
asked questions

  • How much does luggage storage cost in Marbella?

We charge from €4.30 per day (24 hours) for luggage storage in Marbella.

  • Does Marbella have luggage lockers?

Yes, but they're not always the best option. Luggage lockers can fill up quickly and may be unavailable when you need them. Some luggage lockers may be too small to fit large or bulky items. Unlike luggage lockers, we don't charge per hour and instead charge a flat rate for 24 hours of storage. We also have partners who watch over your stuff to make sure it's safe, and can answer any questions you may have or give you advice on what to do in Marbella.

  • How does Bounce luggage storage work?

We partner with local businesses around the world who have secure spaces to store luggage for travelers. Just tell us how many bags you have and when you need storage, and we'll show you convenient places you can keep your stuff safe while you explore.

Booking online is super easy and only takes a couple of minutes. To keep our partners and your stuff safe, we'll show you the address of the store once you book online. When you're ready, head to the store and show the Bounce Partner your booking confirmation so they can take your bags and securely store them right away. Then you can enjoy your day without having to worry about your bags!

To pick up your bags, show the Bounce Partner your booking confirmation and they'll hand over your stuff. That's it!
  • Where is my luggage stored?

We only partner with trusted businesses who have a dedicated, secure place to keep your luggage safe. Some businesses may store luggage behind a counter that's off-limits to customers, while others may have storage rooms or closets for your luggage. But no matter where you choose to leave your luggage, our partners will keep it safe.

  • What can I store with Bounce?

Luggage, backpacks, gym bags, and more! Bounce is like having a personal storage facility for your stuff anywhere you go, so you can leave much more than just luggage with us. Whether you want to store your luggage after checking out of your Airbnb or want to drop off your work bag before hitting happy hour, we've got you covered.

We don't charge extra for oversized items, but some special items might need to be approved before you can store them. For example, surfboards, guitars, car seats, bicycles, or skis take up a lot of space, so let us know if you have them. We can check with the Bounce Partner for you to make sure they have room for your stuff.
  • Is there hourly luggage storage in Marbella?

Yes, but many companies charge per hour and costs can add up fast. We charge one price for 24 hours of storage, so storing your stuff is more affordable in Marbella.

  • How long can I leave my luggage with Bounce?

Whether you need storage for a couple of hours or a couple of days, we've got you covered! Just put in the dates and times you need luggage storage and we'll show you all of the available locations on our map. For long-term storage lasting more than a week, reach out to us and we'll help you find a convenient location.

If you're already storing your stuff but you need more time, you can add more time from your booking details page. Just make sure the store will be open and you can get your bags before your new pickup time.
  • How do I change or cancel my booking?

Plans change, we get it! If you need to change or cancel your booking for any reason, the best way to do it is from your booking details page in the Bounce app. You can edit the dates, drop-off and pick-up times, and number of bags. You can also cancel your booking or rebook at a nearby store. If you can't find your booking details, check the email address you used to make your booking. You can change your booking by following the link there, or reach out to us if you need support.

About Marbella

The autonomous region of Andalusia in the south of Spain is one of the country's most visited destinations. The legendary Costa del Sol, with its stunning beaches and reliably hot and sunny weather, is one of Europe's classic sun destinations. Millions of tourists make their way here every year to soak up the sun and enjoy great food and breathtaking scenery.

It wasn't always this way. Though nowadays it is known chiefly for its resorts, Marbella is a very ancient town that may go back as far as the Phoenicians in the 7th century BC. After becoming a Carthaginian and then a Roman settlement, Marbella became part of Islamic Spain in the 10th century, and some of the city's oldest buildings date back to this period.

For much of its history, Marbella was supported by the industries of agriculture and fishing. In the 19th century, mining in the mountains behind the town created a short-lived boom. However, when the industry collapsed, the town suffered economic hardship.

At the end of the Second World War, Marbella had only 900 inhabitants. That all changed when a Spanish nobleman moved to the town and popularized it with his friends. He built a resort, and in 1954, his nephew built another, aimed at attracting the rich and famous. Throughout the late 20th century, tourism became an increasingly important part of the local economy. Now, Marbella is one of the wealthiest towns in Andalusia thanks to the influx of foreign money.

Things to do in Marbella

Marbella has been known as a resort town for decades. And its beaches and clubs are still one of the main attractions in the town. But when you’ve had enough of resort life, you’ll find there’s plenty of other things to do in this coastal town.

  • See what has made Marbella such a popular destination at Playa de Venus. This city beach has the soft sand and warm water that has made the Costa del Sol famous, and its restaurants, bars, and clubs ensure you won't run out of things to do. It's also a great place to engage in water sports such as boating, swimming, and jet skiing.
  • Soak up the atmosphere at the Plaza de los Naranjos. The old heart of the city, this public square is lined with cafes and restaurants and is a great place to people watch.
  • Take a stroll along the Paseo Maritimo like the locals do. This pedestrian walkway offers stunning views over the ocean and is the perfect after-dinner activity.
  • Step back in time at the Castillo Soheil. Dating back to 1485, this castle has long protected the Andalusian coast and is a great place to learn more about the history of the region. Plus, you may catch a refreshing sea breeze from the battlements to beat the heat of the day.
  • See a more tranquil side of Marbella at Playa de Calahonda. The sandy beach is almost three miles long, and is less developed than other beaches along the coast. It's an ideal location to get some peace amid nature.

Transit options in Marbella

  • Malaga airport is the closest to  Marbella. A regular bus service connects Marbella to the airport.
  • Marbella has no train station. Instead, its bus station allows travelers to reach it from towns throughout Andalusia and beyond. There are long-distance buses from Madrid and Barcelona to bring visitors to the coast.
  • CTSA-Portillo runs the local bus service in Marbella. Buses connect the major hotels with the beaches and other tourist attractions, but can get very crowded in the summer months.

Luggage storage in Marbella

With its reliably warm weather, stunning scenery, and compact core, Marbella is a town made to be explored on foot. But heat and hills can quickly turn a pleasant stroll into an arduous slog. Make things easier on yourself by dropping off your luggage at a Bounce luggage storage shop in Marbella. You can leave any size of bags for as long as you like and rest assured that they will be safe until you return to pick them up.

Activities and attractions near Marbella

  • Canyoning: For an outdoor activity you won't soon forget, try canyoning in the Guadalmina River. This river has carved a series of steep gorges as it winds its way to the coast, making it a perfect place for adventurous exploration. Hike, climb, swim, and repel your way through the stunning canyons and get your heart pumping as you explore the wild side of Andalusia. Canyoning is a very physical activity, so you'll want to leave your bags behind at a Marbella luggage storage service before you head out.
  • Selwo Marina: For a different kind of excitement, head to the park at Selwo Marina. This aquatic park allows you to encounter marine animals such as penguins, sea lions, and dolphins. You can even swim with some of the animals for an even more thrilling experience. Make sure to drop off anything you don't need at a luggage locker in Marbella so that you can enjoy your day in the water.
  • Sierra Blanca: Explore the rugged backcountry of the Sierra Blanca. Named for their white rocks, the mountains that rise behind Marbella are full of hiking trails just waiting to be explored. As well as fascinating plant and animal life, the mountains offer jaw-dropping views over the Mediterranean ocean, and make a great place to escape the busy city. Make things easier by leaving heavy bags behind at a luggage storage shop in Marbella before you go.
