The Louis Armstrong New Orleans International Airport, otherwise known as simply New Orleans Airport, is an international airport found in the city of Kenner in Jefferson Parish, Louisiana. Classified under Class B airspace, the airport is situated 11 miles west of downtown New Orleans and is officially owned by the city of New Orleans. The New Orleans Airport primarily serves the Greater New Orleans Region as well as southeast Louisiana.
