There is also a shuttle bus operated by Tempesta Autoservizi which can get you from the airport to the center of the city in around 30 minutes, but you'll still need to take the bus from there.

Polignano a Mare

To get from the port to this town, take bus route 52 from Bari Central train station. Then, you can take the train to Polignano for a total journey time of a little over one hour. The train only costs around six euros, with the bus costing just a couple of euros more, so it's a very affordable way to see a beautiful place.
