• George Square: George Square is the primary square in Glasgow city center and surrounded by several prominent landmarks.   The sumptuous Glasgow City Chambers is the highlight of the square and serves as the headquarters of Glasgow City Council. At the square’s center lies a stunning 80-ft monument dedicated to Sir Walter Scott that has stood for nearly 200 years.

Saint Mungo’s tomb is located inside the lower crypt, and the Necropolis sits just outside the building.

Glasgow Cathedral remains in public ownership to this day, and active services still take place on-site.
