You might not guess it from the shows and movies, but states like California and Arizona are deserts. These states heat way up during the summer, and both house several famous desert cities like Adelanto or Scottsdale. Records show that humans have lived in Scottsdale for centuries. In fact, some of the city’s earliest inhabitants were the Pima people, who initially named their settlement Vaṣai S-vaṣonĭ - or “Rotting Hay.” The city earned its current name in the 1880s; a United States Army Chaplain named Winfield Scott was said to have purchased a plot of land that eventually became the heart of the city.
Today, Scottsdale is one of Arizona’s most popular tourist destinations. The reasons for Scottsdale’s popularity are almost too numerous to count. The city is one of Arizona’s foremost art and culture centers, houses several big casinos, and is filled with historic sites and relics from its past. Arizona’s sweltering heat and dense sands will take some getting used to. However, cities like Scottsdale are well worth the trip to the Copper State.
Scottsdale’s desert climate allows visitors to try out all sorts of unique activities. The city’s sandier areas are the perfect places to ride around on an ATV. Land Sailing is also a fun activity that’s popular in Scottsdale, as are bonfire gatherings. There are also plenty of fun things to do within the city’s walls as well. As we mentioned earlier, Scottsdale houses several amazing historic sites. Some of these sites take the form of museums or well-preserved homes. Others are natural landmarks that have been around for centuries. Scottsdale is also famous for its nighttime activities and day time festivals. From parades to late-night parties, there’s never a dull moment in the city. Last but not least, Scottsdale’s food scene is out of this world. Guests will find plenty of restaurants that serve a unique blend of dishes. While visiting Scottsdale, Bounce highly recommends visiting the following 10 points of interest.

Large populations are another thing that states like Arizona and California have in common. As of 2019, the city is estimated to have a population of 258, 069 citizens. That’s not the crazy part, however; more than 2.2 million visitors traveled to Scottsdale in 2017 alone. We can see why so many people visit the city each year. Scottsdale is a prominent tourist hot spot, after all. Visitors won’t want to lug their luggage around Scottsdale when it's hectic. That’s why they should use Bounce to safely store their things.

Luggage Storage Near Taliesin West
Francis Lloyd Wright was one of the United States’ most prolific architects. During his career, Wright drafted the designs for a wealth of prominent buildings; the Price Tower, Fallingwater House, and Solomon R. Guggenheim Museum are all his designs. Naturally, Wright also drafted the plans for his homes. The Taliesin West is one of Wright’s most famous dwellings. He designed this winter home in 1937 with a deliberate organic aesthetic. That is to say that Wright incorporated many rocks and plants in the Taliesin’s design to make it feel like an extension of Scottsdale’s desert. The Taliesin West is a must-visit locale.

This was so cool!!!! Great service, extremely easy to use, and totally affordable! I didn't know where I'd leave my luggage while we explored San Fran, so I easily Googled luggage storage and found this company. At first it was a little odd dropping my bag off at a chocolate store, but the lady at the register was able to immediately pull up my reservation without any problems and then she put a lock on my suitcase and gave me a card to get it back with. She pushed the bag to the back of their storage room and I came back about 6 hours later to pick it up. Great service, I will definitely be using this again when I travel!
