Located on the Westside, West Egg Café serves a mouth-watering brunch that is well worth the long lines every weekend. Get in line early, especially if you have a larger group. Open Wednesday through Sunday, the café offers the same menu every day.

Murphy’s

Gluten-free options, such as banana and oat hotcakes and avocado toast served with a soft-cooked egg are also available. Buena Vida Tapas & Sol

Superica

Formerly El Felix, Superica is has a few different locations throughout Atlanta but only the restaurant on Roswell Rd NE in the northern Buckhead neighborhood offers weekend brunch. Find a delicious brunch menu that is filled with Tex-Mex favorites and south-of-the-border favorites. Order traditional mimosas with your brunch or be a little daring and order the tequila-laden Bloody Mary.

Be sure to order one of their Aguas Frescas for a refreshing drink that will help balance the spice of your meal. The chilaquiles, huevos rancheros, and chorizo breakfast burrito do have a kick that will invite a party in your mouth. The hotcakes and Amigas taco plate has less spiciness for those looking for a great brunch without the kick.

El Tesoro

When looking for an authentic brunch bursting with traditional Mexican flavors, head to the Edgewood neighborhood and check out El Tesoro. The small menu may be a little confusing for those unfamiliar with how brunch works here. The moderately priced eatery offers two things: breakfast burritos or breakfast tacos. Brunch is served Saturdays and Sundays.

The best part about there only being two options is that you get to choose your own fillings for your tacos or burritos. Maybe you are in the mood for poblano peppers and esquite corn or possibly sweet potatoes and pork chorizo. For those wanting to take a walk on the wild side give the chapulines a try, these dry-roasted grasshoppers are popular in the Oaxaca region.
