Minneapolis Airport Bag policy

Like with all airports, bags and luggage have to adhere to airline policies before being allowed onboard planes. Every bag will be subject to security screening with no dangerous items, such as flammable gases or firearms, allowed on flights. There is no weight limit for bags entering Minneapolis Airport specifically, however each airline has their own restriction. Be sure to check your flight ticket to see what applies to you.

If you find yourself at Minneapolis Airport with a few spare hours, consider storing your bags in a luggage storage locker at Minneapolis Airport. This will free you up to explore, rather than being stuck with your belongings.

Minneapolis Airport Food policy

Passengers are welcome to bring their own food into Minneapolis Airport to consume in the venue or onboard their flight. Take note that each airline has its own food policy so there may be certain restrictions depending on the airline you are traveling with. Liquids are not permitted past security screening, but you can purchase a drink or fill up your bottle once you have gone through to the terminals.

If you are looking to purchase food, there is no shortage of options at Minneapolis Airport. Grab a table at the food court or choose a dine-in option for a pre-flight feast. You’ll find everything from bakery food to pub meals to healthy options.

Minneapolis Airport Camera policy

Cameras are permitted in Minneapolis Airport. However, they must only be used for personal purposes. Photography and filming is not allowed in security areas, especially if you are an international traveler passing through border security. You should also never take photos of other people without their permission. If you would like to take photos inside Minneapolis Airport for professional purposes, you will need to get a permit.

If you are traveling with heavy camera equipment that you don’t want to check-in, consider using Bounce bag storage at Minneapolis Airport if you have an extended layover. This way, you won’t have to carry them around or watch them while you wait.

Minneapolis Airport rules

There is ample car parking available at Minneapolis Airport. There are a range of options to choose from depending on duration and convenience preferences.
