Dubrovnik is a city located on the southeastern tip of Croatia. Dubrovnik is often considered one of Croatia's most beautiful cities due to its historic buildings dating back hundreds of years, and views across the crystal clear Adriatic Sea. Due to its long history and plethora of important landmarks, Dubrovnik is categorized as a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
Dubrovnik is believed to date back to the 8th century when it was founded as Ragusa by Roman refugees. Over its history, Dubrovnik has been ruled as a free city, as well as by many civilizations, including the Byzantine Empire, Venetians, and Austrians. Despite many conflicts, such as the Croatian War of Independence, Dubrovnik has maintained its 16th-century city walls and many Gothic, Baroque, and Renaissance-style monuments and buildings.
As well as having tons of remarkable historic sights, Dubrovnik is home to tons of classy restaurants, hotels, and boutiques. Anybody planning on visiting Croatia won't want to miss out on this jewel along the Dalmatian Coast.
Fun Fact: Dubrovnik featured as the setting for King's Landing in the hit TV series Game of Thrones.

Dubrovnik is a gorgeous city with many great attractions. However, its hilly, narrow, and winding streets aren't ideal for lugging around a backpack or suitcase. So, before setting heading to your next adventure, swing by a Dubrovnik luggage storage location. You can find these services at local businesses. Facilities near you are listed on the Bounce app, and booking only takes a couple of minutes. Before you know it, you'll have a convenient place to stash your suitcases before exploring the city.
Lokrum: Lokrum is the name of the island located just off the coast of Dubrovnik. Travelers are welcome to visit the island, with regular ferry services leaving every half an hour. There are two amazing sights on Lokrum—the botanical gardens and ruins of a Benedictine abbey.
The Benedictine abbey on Lokrum dates back to the 11th century but was abandoned at the beginning of the 18th century. After delving into the ruins of this ancient holy site, swing by the botanical gardens. The island's botanical gardens are home to hundreds of different species of trees and flowers. You'll also find a number of free-roaming peacocks on Lokrum. You may not want to bring your bags along on the ferry ride across to the island, so stop by a Dubrovnik luggage storage service first.
Walls of Dubrovnik: Surrounding Dubrovnik's scenic Old Town is the historic Walls of Dubrovnik. This ancient defensive structure runs for over 6,000 feet around the city. The walls have been a symbol of pride to Dubrovnik for hundreds of years, and date back as far as the 12th century. Especially since the filming of Game of Thrones in the city, The Walls of Dubrovnik have become one of the most popular attractions in the whole of Croatia.
Visitors can climb up and walk around the walls, which afford sweeping panoramas of the Adriatic Sea and the Old Town. A walk around the entirety of the walls of Dubrovnik takes about two hours, which can be tiring, especially during summer. So, swing by a Dubrovnik luggage storage service before scaling this magnificent fortification.
Stradun: Stradun is the perfect place to soak up local history and culture. As the main street in Dubrovnik's Old Town, Stradun is home to quaint local shops and many of the city's biggest attractions. Sit down at one of the cafes near Orlando's Column or the Sveti Vlaho Church and watch the world go by.
The whole area around Stradun is pedestrianized, so you won't have to worry about noisy traffic as you stroll down this charming main street. Stradun is visible from the Walls of Dubrovnik, in case you fancy an aerial view. Stradun is one of Dubrovnik's busiest streets, so you may want to stash your belongings at a luggage storage service in Dubrovnik to avoid lugging your bags through the bustling crowds.

This was so cool!!!! Great service, extremely easy to use, and totally affordable! I didn't know where I'd leave my luggage while we explored San Fran, so I easily Googled luggage storage and found this company. At first it was a little odd dropping my bag off at a chocolate store, but the lady at the register was able to immediately pull up my reservation without any problems and then she put a lock on my suitcase and gave me a card to get it back with. She pushed the bag to the back of their storage room and I came back about 6 hours later to pick it up. Great service, I will definitely be using this again when I travel!
