Luis Muñoz Marín International Airport (SJU), simply known as San Juan Airport, is an international airport located in the city of Carolina in Puerto Rico. Named after the first democratically-elected governor in Puerto Rico, SJU is the U.S. territory’s main airport. It is the busiest one in terms of passenger traffic, largely because it is a major gateway to the United States and the Caribbean islands.
