Luis Muñoz Marín International Airport (SJU), simply known as San Juan Airport, is an international airport located in the city of Carolina in Puerto Rico. Named after the first democratically-elected governor in Puerto Rico, SJU is the U.S. territory’s main airport. It is the busiest one in terms of passenger traffic, largely because it is a major gateway to the United States and the Caribbean islands. According to the Federal Aviation Administration, SJU receives over 4 million passengers every year. Passengers in SJU will find that there are plenty of things to do while in the airport.
