Cherry Creek Holiday Market

This holiday market is held at the Fillmore Plaza, a shopping center in Cherry Creek North and it is one of the first places that you should go to do your Xmas shopping. Nearly 30 local vendors gather at the market each Christmas season so you will have plenty of choices when it comes to finding the perfect gift for your loved ones!

Some of the items sold here include candles, clothing, art, delicious foods and spa products. The Cherry Creek Holiday Market stays open for five whole weeks so you will have plenty of time to check it out. They often have live music playing as well.

Cherry Creek is a beautiful area and you should definitely take some time to explore it further while you are here. If you don't mind walking for a few minutes you can reach Cherry Creek Park which is a lovely spot by the water filled with walking trails for you to stroll around.

Denver Christkindl Market

Also called the Denver Christkindlmarket, this event in Downtown Denver stays open throughout November and December, and is Colorado's biggest holiday themed outdoor event. Civic Center Park transforms into a miniature German village for the occasion, and as you navigate the stalls you will be treated to music from Bavarian musicians playing classic carols. You will also get the opportunity to get photos with Santa Claus, Krampus and Christkind.

You will definitely feel the holiday spirit at this market which opens before Thanksgiving and stays open all the way until Christmas Eve. They also host special events like Ugly Christmas Sweater Day and Canine Christmas Day in between. The stalls around the market sell all sorts of finely crafted artisan gifts like beer steins, ornaments or cuckoo clocks. There is food galore as well with gingerbread cookies, charcoal-grilled sausages, baked apples and spicy mulled wine.

Holiday Art Market

The Holiday Art Market is where over 100 local artisans gather in the winter to sell their artworks. It is the ideal spot to find a unique gift for someone special in your life! You will find this market set up at the Foothills Art Center in Golden Colorado which is just a short drive outside of the city center. Aside from shopping, you can enjoy festivities like Newfoundland dog cart rides (for kids, of course).

You will also find the Sugar Plum Bazaar in the Civic Center Park of Denver, Colorado so you might be able to visit this market and the Denver Christkindlmarket on the same day.
