This rather large shopping mall near the Palma international airport is the place to be when you are in need of some major retail therapy. The FAN Mallorca has all of your favorite stores and brands under one roof including H&M, Havaianas, Decathlon, and Calzedonia. The Primark flagship store can be found here. With over 100 shops, you will find exactly what you are looking for.

There are also plenty of delicious cafes and restaurants where you can sit back with a coffee and a snack or dine on a full meal while taking a break from shopping. Enjoy a bite at Che Asador Argentino, an Argentine-style steakhouse or VIPS which is a very popular Spanish restaurant chain. Public buses 23 and 32 run from the city center to the entrance of FAN Mallorca Shopping.

The mall is open Monday through Saturday but is closed on Sundays.

Located on the northern end of Palma, the Mallorca Fashion Outlet is a beautifully landscaped outdoor mall inside a leisure complex. People flock to this mall for the deeply discounted high-end brands, and many internationally known including Nike, Levi, Desigual, Lacoste, Pieles de Mallorca, and El Ganso.

Porto Pi Centro Comercial

Located within walking distance of the Paseo Marítimo promenade, the Porto Pi Shopping Centre is a wonderful shopping center that is popular with tourists as it is near the cruise ship terminal. This multi-story shopping mall has an assortment of stores including Mango, Zara, Stradivarius, and Bershka.

The mall also has a Carrefour hypermarket which is a special market where you can find everything from make-up, personal care items, specialty foods, and clothing. There is also a cinema where you can kick back and relax after spending a few hours shopping.

The EMT bus 1 and bus 4 stop at the Porto Pi Centro Comercial. The shopping center is open Mondays through Saturdays.

El Corte Inglés

This one-stop shop is a great place to go when you need a new outfit, electronics, and books. It is a large shopping center but it is well laid out making it easy to navigate to the shops you need. El Corte Inglés is not necessarily the place you spend an entire day shopping but where you go to grab what you need and continue with your day.

This is the biggest department store in Spain and there just happen to be two of them in Palma de Mallorca. With nine floors, you will want to refer to a map or ask for directions to the stores you want to visit. The Gourmet Food Hall offers some amazingly tasty Mallorcan delicacies. The department store is open Monday through Saturday.

Markets in Palma de Mallorca

Placa Major

While technically not a market, Placa Major does host local outdoor markets throughout the year. This traditional square is surrounded by restaurants, shops, and cafes. Street entertainers can be found day and night, and are especially prevalent during market days.

When you are on the hunt for handmade, traditional Mallorcan crafts and gifts you will want to take a stroll through Placa Major and check out all the fabulous items offered for sale. Be sure to make your way down Carrer Jaume II, a small alleyway where several artisans have shops.
