Rottnest Island
It sounds like a place you don't want to go but you should really take a ride out to Rottnest Island off the coast of Western Australia. Perth also has a fun way to spend a few hours at night. Holey Moley Mini Golf is open until midnight on Fridays and Saturdays so you can play all night. Located in the West Deck at Karrinyup Shopping Centre, this place has two 9-hole courses to enjoy.

The place is more suited for adults as they serve adult beverages. Holey Moley is best suited for the 18+ crowd rather than families (though children are permitted here during the day). See Kings Park and More
Getting around Perth to see all these great ideas is easy with the Transperth Train. It begins at the Perth city center and goes all the way to the coast at Fremantle Station with stops like Perth Station and more in between.
