The park’s overall theme is the entertainment industry, particularly films and television shows. Universal Studios Florida aims to give guests a “real-life” experience where they get to “ride the movies” through the different attractions, rides, and live shows based on well-known movies and TV shows.

With Universal Studios Florida’s continuous rise in popularity comes its constant development. Most of the old attractions have been replaced by more modern and high-tech simulators and rides. One of the theme park’s biggest draws is the Wizarding World of Harry Potter section, which includes a number of rides such as an indoor roller coaster. The park welcomes millions of guests from all over the world every year, with a record-breaking 10.2 million visitors in 2017. Universal Studios Florida ranks sixth in most visited theme parks in the United States and ninth in the world.
