If you arrive in Rome by bus, chances are it will be at Tiburtina bus station. And even though the station lies outside the heart of the city, to the northeast of Rome's ancient walls, it occupies a vibrant neighborhood of its own. In many ways, the Tiburtina neighborhood allows you to see the city through the eyes of a local rather than a tourist.
