Best Vegetarian Restaurants in Las Vegas

Las Vegas, the biggest city of the Mojave Desert in Southern Nevada, is known as the entertainment capital of the world! The city is popular for its extravagant hotels and lavish casinos which pull in millions of tourists every single year. Your vacation will not feel like you are in Vegas but as if you are traveling around the world since each of the hotels on the Las Vegas Strip follows a different theme and setting. Being such an impressive city, it is hard to believe that Las Vegas, NV began as a small railway settlement and was only founded in 1905. The development of the Strip only started in 1941 with the El Rancho Vegas resort!

While you are here you will most likely be spending lots of time gambling in the casinos or attending entertaining shows. Between exploring the city and visiting the attractions you will need to find somewhere to eat. There are lots of great restaurants in Las Vegas and many of them have fantastic vegan and vegetarian options. Below, we've gathered a list of some of the best for you to dine at while you are in the city. Before stopping to dine, make your way to a luggage storage locker in Las Vegas, they can hold your bags for you while you eat. Why drag along shopping bags or other unneeded items? Dine without a care and pick up your things after.

VegeNation

What's it like:

Found right in the heart of the city is VegeNation, a great vegetarian restaurant that is open from 9 am to 8 pm every day. You will be able to spot them quickly with the big logo on the building. Inside, the restaurant has a natural feel to it with plants and vines hanging from the walls and ceiling. It is a great spot to go with friends or to bring the family for some tasty vegetarian food!

Our recommendation:

They have a very colorful menu with a diverse selection of dishes. You can order anything from comfort food to salads and ethnic meals, with lots of meat substitutes and plant-based ingredients. Can't decide what to order? Try their Pop Up Pizza Special which changes daily, or the Buffalo Cauliflower Wings for a starter. If you still have room, go for a Chicken Pot Pie Gnocchi! If you are visiting for breakfast then the classic French Toast is definitely a good choice.

Slice of Vegas Pizza Kitchen & Bar

What's it like:

Slice of Vegas is open between 11 am and 11 pm every day, except Fridays and Saturdays when they stay open until 12 am. The restaurant is located inside Mandalay Bay and is a nice modern-looking restaurant with comfortable red booths and a bar. It's a fantastic spot to bring a group of buddies, have a few drinks and enjoy delicious vegetarian dishes.

Our recommendation:

You've probably guessed that the main star of their menu is pizza, although they offer other choices as well. Aside from their regular meals, you can order from a specifically vegan menu and there are lots of nice options. Try their Vegan Meatless Meatballs and some Vegan Fries as well. If you want pizza we recommend the Vegan BBQ Chicken or even the Vegan Meat Lovers which is made with no meat products. As you can see, even meat eaters will love the dishes served here!

Truth & Tonic Wellness Cafe

What's it like:

Truth & Tonic Wellness Cafe is the only strictly vegetarian restaurant on the Las Vegas Strip so you should definitely eat here at least once. The restaurant itself is very nicely designed with a bright setting and welcoming atmosphere, clean wooden tables and drawings of cactuses lining the walls. You can visit for either breakfast or lunch since they are open from 7 am to 2 pm daily, except Mondays and Tuesdays when they are closed.

Our recommendation:

This is one of Las Vegas' best vegetarian restaurants because it offers very healthy food packed with flavor and nutrients. Try their Breakfast Tacos made with a "JUST" egg patty (plant-based), vegan breakfast sausage, cheddar cheese, Pico de Gallo and chipotle aioli cilantro served with a cabbage slaw. Their Spinach & Kale Avocado Toast is another favorite. They also serve several flavors of smoothies, vegan wines, mojitos, craft beers, mimosas or freshly squeezed juices. This restaurant isn't hard to find and they are the perfect spot for a healthy weekend brunch.

Veggie House

What's it like:

This restaurant is small but popular and is often filled with hungry guests eager to treat their taste buds to delicious vegetarian meals. The space is cute with plants strategically placed around the room and TVs on the walls so you can watch something while you eat. The wooden chairs and turquoise tables give it a light and summery vibe that everyone loves. Open hours are from 11:30 am to 9:30 pm every day.

Our recommendation:

The menu items resemble what you would expect to see in most restaurants serving Asian cuisine, but they are vegetarian friendly. Chef Kenny Chye makes some great dishes and we suggest that you try their yummy General Tso's Chicken or the Kung Pao Chicken. Although they are vegan, even meat lovers will enjoy them.

Tarantino's Vegan

What's it like:

This vegetarian eatery has gained the favor of many locals since it is the very first completely plant based Italian restaurant in Las Vegas, NV. The space is clean and modern with nice dark tables and chairs complimented by light wooden detailing and, of course, plants placed on shelves lining the walls. The light brick wall and fairy lights lining the ceiling are a nice touch and it is a very pleasant place to grab lunch or dinner for plant based foodiess. Tarantino's Vegan is closed on Mondays but remains open the rest of the week from 11 am to 8 pm.

Our recommendation:

There are lots of great menu items to choose from as well as a good selection of gluten free options. Try their yummy Garlic Bread or Zucchini Sticks for a starter and the Eggplant Parmesan Sandwich for the main course. They also serve some great choices of pasta if that is what you are craving.

Wazuzu

What's it like:

Wazuzu is a restaurant serving Pan-Asian dishes using Chinese, Thai and classic Japanese culinary techniques. They go all out with the décor with a bright red restaurant, gold and black detailing and exotic furnishings. There is even a huge crystal dragon that is 27 feet long perched on the wall! They are open for business from 11:30 am to 10 pm Sunday to Thursday, and on Friday and Saturday, they close at 11:30 pm. They are located on the first floor of the Encore at Wynn Las Vegas.

Our recommendation:

Be aware that not the entire menu is plant based, but they do have some great vegan and vegetarian options. This includes vegan sushi prepared fresh, like the Rainbow Vegan Sushi Rolls made with asparagus, avocado, cucumber and vegan cilantro aioli. Another great option is the Vegan Drunken Noodles made with tofu or fresh vegetables, and you are sure to love the Jade Dumplings with shitake mushrooms and spinach.

Veggy Street

What's it like:

Are you hungry for some vegan dishes but don't have the time to sit down and wait? Veggy Street is a sort of fast food restaurant offering vegan options for when you're in a hurry. They have several locations in Las Vegas, NV and both are bright and friendly with white walls and tables, tiled floors and simple décor. Hours are the same for both restaurants so you can stop by anytime between 11:30 am and 8 pm.

Our recommendation:

Veggy Street has a pretty extensive menu with classic dishes and comfort food like burgers, sandwiches soups and salads. You should try their plant based hotdogs with chili sauce in a pretzel bun!

Nacho Daddy

What's it like:

Nacho Daddy is a great line of family friendly restaurants in Las Vegas with several locations around the city. Each restaurant has a cool and rustic feel to it with dark floors, walls and furniture, and some nice high ceilings. They have a place in Downtown Las Vegas, one in Paradise, and another in Summerlin. Hours vary between locations but in most cases, they are open from as early as 8 am to as late as 2 am.

Our recommendation:

You've probably never seen so many kinds of nachos in one place, and Nacho Daddy does it the best. They also have a kids menu making it a great choice for a family outing. Not every dish is vegan but you won't have to worry since they offer a completely different menu dedicated to plant based meals. Try the Vegan Loaded Nachos or the Vegan Fajita Salad!

Gordon Ramsay Hell's Kitchen

What's it like:

You've most likely heard of, or even watched, the show Hell's Kitchen with Gordon Ramsay. If you are a fan and want to eat at the very restaurant featured on the show then this is your chance! Once you arrive, you will walk through the big red wall and notice the famous logo printed above you. Inside the restaurant, you can see the red and blue side where the two teams compete on the show! The restaurant is open from 11 am to 11:30 pm daily.

Our recommendation:

Hell's Kitchen has its very own and very big vegan and vegetarian menu, so you can order in confidence knowing that what you are eating is plant based. Try delicious meals like Pan Seared Tofu Scallops, Artichoke Risotto, or a healthy Quinoa Salad. They also have a dessert menu with sweet dishes like Chocolate Sin Cake and Salted Peanut Decadence. If you want a vegan dessert you can have the Coconut 3-Ways.

The Top Vegetarian and Vegan Dining Options in Las Vegas, NV

Sin City is full of dining options and includes restaurants offering all sorts of culinary experiences. Such a big city that is based on tourism is sure to be filled with places for everyone to eat, from fine dining to casual cafes.
