Located in the north of the city, Bologna Centrale Station is a major train station in the charming city of Bologna. It serves approximately 58 million passengers annually, making it the fifth largest station in the country based on number of passengers. Although, according to train movements it is nearly the busiest and has a comparable number of services to Rome Termini Station at 800 each day. The station operates services between Bologna and a range of destinations, including Milan, Verona, Padua, Ancona, Florence, Vignola, Portomaggiore and Pistoia. Some of these services are standard and some are high-speed.
Bologna Centrale Station has 27 platforms across two categories: Bologna Centrale and Bologna Centrale (AV), which is for high-speed lines. The station was originally opened in 1864, however, has had many upgrades over the years. In 2008, architect Gae Aulenti’s design was selected to construct a modern station that would accommodate new high-speed train lines. This saw underground platforms being opened in 2013 and the installation of additional tracks which were ready for use in 2016. This design is still present in the current version of Bologna Centrale Station.

This was my first time using this service and it worked seamlessly. I had no problems at all dropping my bag off at NYC Racquet Sports and it was just as easy picking it up. This location is a couple blocks from Penn Station, so it was perfect for exploring Manhattan for several hours before catching the train to Newark Airport for a late night flight. Will definitely use this service on future trips!
Really excellent service, right around the corner from A/C/E trains at Penn Station in New York. Popular and busy restaurant, too — but no one kept me waiting to drop off or pick up a bag.
This place is awesome, it’s near Macy’s and other souvenir shops, nearby food outlets too and near the Penn station in New York. This is the best place to leave your luggage for last minute shopping before you head to the airport via Penn station. Plus the Employees are very courteous and kind
