The store staff knows what they are doing, they will put your luggage in the back room and even print out a QR code for your record. I felt my stuff were safe and in good hands while wandering around town.
The lady helping me with my luggage was helpful, to ensure that I feel safe about the situation, she allowed me to take photos etc. she was just lovely and helpful in general.
