Miami is a popular beach town and a tourist attraction, so there is always something going on to enjoy. There are various beaches, from the Historic Virginia Key Beach Park with wetlands and hiking to the iconic Miami Beach with a huge boardwalk. The park started out as Parrot Jungle with over a thousand varieties of parrots, but with the added additions of other wildlife, the name was changed to Jungle Island. While you are at Jungle Island, take a walk through Treewalk Village in eight-foot-tall hammocks. See some exciting animal shows, and experience fun interactions with the lemurs and other animals. They even have an escape room you can try to escape from. Don’t miss Hercules, a 900-pound liger, a cross between a lion and a tiger. Grab a bite to eat at the Pink Flamingo Kitchen before you leave. Luggage Storage Near Phillip and Patricia Frost Museum of Science

Located just over 20 minutes from Miami International Airport on Biscayne Boulevard, the Phillip and Patricia Frost Museum of Science is three museums in one spot. The science museum, aquarium, and planetarium are all in one large building with six levels. On the first level, you can find the planetarium, an ocean gallery, and a mirror maze. Level two, three, and four have different sections of the aquarium. On the second level, the giant oculus lens lets you see the sharks and other marine life up close. You’ll find the Knight Learning Center on the fifth level. And the sixth level has the Sun Spot and an observation deck. An interesting exhibit called Feathers to the Stars is also on level three. It features the story of how humans learned to fly by studying animals. Don’t forget to get the camera from your bag before dropping it off at any of our nearby Bounce locations.

If you need some retail therapy, take a 25-minute trip to Bayside Marketplace where you can shop with a beautiful view of the bay. At this giant marketplace on Biscayne Boulevard, you will find more than 70 shops from A1 Kids to XIMI Vogue. You can get some souvenirs at the Souvenir Shop or Gifts from the Sea. If you are looking for some bling for your special someone, check out Icing, Pasha Silver, or Silver Palace. With 40 eateries, you will not have to go hungry either. Stop at Auntie Anne’s for a pretzel or have a nice meal at Chili’s Grill and Bar. For dessert, go to Haagen-Dazs, Rolly’s, or Dippin’ Dots for ice cream or Wonderfruits for some amazing handmade popsicles.
