About Wynwood Walls

Located on NW 2nd Avenue in Miami, Florida, Wynwood Walls was created in 2009 by community revitalizer, Tony Goldman. His idea was to transform the bland warehouse district, and with all the bare walls, he thought they would make excellent canvasses for street art. What started as six warehouse walls from 25th to 26th Street has turned into over 80,000 square feet of walls. The project brought dozens of the world’s best graffiti artists from 16 countries to Miami to help with the project. Take a guided tour or just browse the walls on your own and get some awesome selfies.

The Wynwood Walls project was so popular that it grew to other projects like Wynwood Doors, which is a complex next to the Walls where they installed 15 metal garage doors that can be rolled up or down to see the art on both sides. An expansion of murals in neighborhoods surrounding Wynwood was created soon after. The expansion is deemed “Outside the Walls.” Another addition, the Wynwood Walls Garden, was started up in 2015 just outside Wynwood Doors with more murals amongst a lush landscape where you can relax and enjoy the artwork. 

Fun Fact: Wynwood Walls was cited as a tourist destination for family fun in 2018 by Palm Beach Illustrated magazine.

Luggage Storage Near Jungle Island

Just 15 minutes from Wynwood Walls, Jungle Island is the ideal option for animal and adventure lovers. In Adventure Bay, climb a rock wall, go bungee jumping, or try the aerial ropes course. In Treewalk Village, climb through a bunch of treehouses through eight-foot tall hammocks. Then grab a snack before getting up close and personal with some kangaroos. See a show at Winged Wonders where they have some really cool birds like condors, macaws, and buzzards. You can even pet some lemurs, sloths, and flamingos. But don’t get too close to the skunks. This fun attraction even has two escape rooms to try. In the Cabin Escape, find and catch the Joker before your 30-minute time limit is up. In The Asylum, escape by solving riddles and challenges. Get some souvenirs from the gift shop before you leave. You’ll have to drop off your belongings with one of our Bounce partners nearby because Jungle Island doesn’t allow them inside. 

Luggage Storage Near Discovery Miami Beach

About 20 minutes from Wynwood, Discovery Miami Beach in Lummus Park is great for catching some rays and cooling off in the ocean. But there is much more to do than just being a beach bum. The park on Ocean Drive has over 26 acres of fun, both inside and outside. Work out at one of the two outdoor fitness gyms. MyBeast and MyEquilibria’s Leopard Tree have over 30 workout stations with weightlifting equipment, gymnastics, and more. Explore some of the walking trails in the park or stroll along the Art Deco Artisan Market for some one-of-a-kind souvenirs. They also have a walking tour you can take as well as a museum and welcome center to learn more about the artists. Fill up at one of the cafés along Ocean Drive like Mango’s Tropical Café, Mammamia Gelato, or Lario’s on the Beach. Grab your camera out of your bags before dropping them off at our nearest location.  

Luggage Storage Near Vizcaya Museum & Gardens

This historic estate is only 15 minutes from the Walls on South Miami Avenue on Biscayne Bay. Inside the main house are 34 rooms full of artwork, furniture, and artifacts from when it was built in 1914. James Deering built Vizcaya as his first winter residency and decorated it with stunning Italian architecture and furniture as well as paintings, statues, and other artwork. Outside, the gardens are chock full of statuary, fountains, and vibrantly colored flowers. Get a guided tour around the Vizcaya Village or walk out onto the beach for some scenic selfies. The ornamental breakwater carved from Florida limestone designed to look like a Venetian barge is one of the best photo ops in the city. Fuel up at the Café and grab some souvenirs at the gift shop before leaving. But don’t forget to leave your luggage at one of our Bounce partners on the way.
