About Beverly Hills

Home to many of Hollywood’s most beautiful, Beverly Hills has been the backdrop for many iconic movies such as Pretty Woman and The Bodyguard. Located in Los Angeles County, not far from the city of Los Angeles, residents are used to the high-end living, gawking tourists, and trolling paparazzi. It can be expensive to visit Beverly Hills, so tourists on a budget may find it a bit difficult to enjoy the full experience. Save your pennies and head to the land of the rich and famous for a few days of luxury and fine dining.

If you are lucky enough to get reservations at the Beverly Hills Hotel, you can enjoy a poolside café and a tropical paradise. Plan a picnic in the Beverly Gardens Park and stroll through the rose gardens or sit near one of the fountains. No matter what activity you have planned for the day, be on the lookout if you are interested in celebrity sightings. You may accidentally run into a few while you are out and about. But don’t be the typical tourist with camera or phone in one hand and your bags dragging behind. Bounce has several locations throughout Beverly Hills, where you can stow your bags short-term.

Fun Fact: Beverly Hills is rare in that it has no cemetery, no hospital, no power lines, and no billboards.

Things to Do in Beverly Hills

From strolling down iconic Rodeo Drive to shopping in high-end stores and celebrity watching, Beverly Hills is filled with things to keep you busy while you are here. Just a short drive from downtown Los Angeles, Beverly Hills is a popular destination for tourists. Bounce has come up with a list of things to do and see while you are exploring Beverly Hills to get you started on your Californian adventure.

  • Drop by the Lily Pond and visit the Beverly Hills sign in Beverly Gardens Park. The 40-foot sign is the perfect place to snap some photos for your social media account. Sit near the tranquil Lily Pond in the park and enjoy a few peaceful minutes.
  • While in Beverly Gardens Park, stop by the Hymn of Life: Tulips, a work of art by Yayoi Kusama. Sit and admire the art piece and learn more about the artist’s other artwork. There are several other paintings, murals, and statues throughout the park to view.
  • Grab lunch at the Grill on the Alley, where you can enjoy classic American cuisine such as soups, burgers, salads, and sandwiches. Make dinner reservations where you could possibly spot a celebrity or two while enjoying delicious dishes.
  • Visit the Doheny Estate, which includes the Greystone Mansion and Gardens. This estate has been featured in several movies such as Spider-Man, The Bodyguard, and The Social Network.
  • You cannot leave Beverly Hills without giving Sprinkles ATM a try. It is the world’s very first cupcake ATM using a touch screen to select your cupcake. The ATM is restocked throughout the day to guarantee your cupcake is fresh.
  • Have a massage at the Tomoko Spa, where spa treatments are offered to rejuvenate your body and soul. Have a manicure or pedicure after your relaxing massage.
