Incorporated in 1903, Hollywood is a neighborhood of Los Angeles in Southern California known for its film industry. In fact, major motion pictures have been filmed in Hollywood since 1912. So, it just makes sense that a theme park about movies would be built in the middle of the neighborhood in 1964. This Hollywood location is one of five Universal Studios around the world, along with sites in Japan, Singapore, Beijing, and Universal Studios Florida in Orlando.

Any hard coolers, suitcases, rolling bags or soft coolers measuring more than 8.5” x 6” x 6” will need to be stored in advance, as you aren’t allowed to bring luggage inside. All backpacks and belongings will also be inspected at the park entrance before you’re allowed to enter the grounds.

You should be aware the storage lockers are limited in availability and follow a case by case basis, meaning that you may not have access to them if they’re full.
