Holborn Station is an underground tube station situated in Holborn, London. Holborn Station is on the Central and Piccadilly Lines. It's a popular tube station due to its position near the center of London, providing access to many of the city's biggest attractions, including the National Gallery, Buckingham Palace, and the British Museum.

Holborn Station was built at the turn of the 20th century and opened in 1907. The station was originally known as Holborn (Kingsway) until the 1960s, when the name was shortened to Holborn. In the 1930s, the station was renovated and fitted with escalators to help deal with the station's increased traffic.
