About Tower Hill
Tower Hill is a community garden square and district located in London, England. Tower Hill takes its name from the adjacent Tower of London. Due to its location across from the tower, Tower Hill has been the site of many public executions over the years, including Sir Thomas Moore, Edward Seymour, and George Boelyn.
Tower Hill is said to be one of the oldest areas in London, with parts of the nearby All Hallows-by-the-Tower Church dating back to the 7th century. This historic area of London also features one of the few remaining pieces of the London Wall, a 3rd-century defensive wall built by the Romans.
