As the most populated city in the country, over 8.3 million people live in New York City. It is unique in that it encompasses five boroughs, which include Staten Island, Queens, the Bronx, Brooklyn, and Manhattan. In each of these boroughs is a separate culture and personality. In the southwest, Staten Island is a favorite with those who love the arts like the Postcards 9/11 Memorial and several museums as well. The Bronx, which has been portrayed in many films and television shows, is the only borough on the US mainland. With its zoo, parks, and gardens, it is a fun place to visit.
As the largest borough, Queens has many interesting attractions like the Unisphere, New York Mets Citi Field, and the Aqueduct Racetrack. Brooklyn is the most well-known and is the home to the Brooklyn Bridge, Coney Island, and Prospect Park.
The most densely populated borough, Manhattan, is described as the center of New York’s economic, cultural, and entertainment capital. Battery Park is located in Manhattan, at the southern tip of the island. This incredible park spans 25 acres and is a must-see attraction when in NYC. Near Battery Park is famous Wall Street, the heart of the city, which acts as the central hub of the Financial District of the United States.
While you are in New York, make sure you visit Battery Park, which is considered to be the city’s birthplace park. Where else can you see the Statue of Liberty, a fish-themed carousel, ride the Staten Island Ferry, and play in a fountain with the kids? All of this is in a cozy 25-acre park on the tip of Manhattan Island facing the New York Harbor. There is so much to do and see here, you will need an entire day or more, hands-free, to do it all. Bounce recommends the following places for you to enjoy.
Ride the SeaGlass Carousel, the only one of its kind in the world
If you enjoy memorials, the park has over two dozen of them honoring inventors, explorers, soldiers, and more
See the Statue of Liberty at the Vista Point, where there are benches and unobstructed views of Lady Liberty, Brooklyn, Governor’s Island, and more
Check out the Battery Urban Farm to show the kids how important and fun it is to plant your own gardens

This was my first time using this service and it worked seamlessly. I had no problems at all dropping my bag off at NYC Racquet Sports and it was just as easy picking it up. This location is a couple blocks from Penn Station, so it was perfect for exploring Manhattan for several hours before catching the train to Newark Airport for a late night flight. Will definitely use this service on future trips!
Really excellent service, right around the corner from A/C/E trains at Penn Station in New York. Popular and busy restaurant, too — but no one kept me waiting to drop off or pick up a bag.
This place is awesome, it’s near Macy’s and other souvenir shops, nearby food outlets too and near the Penn station in New York. This is the best place to leave your luggage for last minute shopping before you head to the airport via Penn station. Plus the Employees are very courteous and kind
