About Hell’s Kitchen
Hell’s Kitchen is located on Manhattan’s Westside, extending from the Hudson River east to 8th Avenue. It is bordered by the neighborhoods of Lincoln Square to the North and Chelsea to the South. For over a hundred years, this neighborhood was a hotbed of Irish mob activity. In fact, the famous musical West Side Story is based on happenings in this neighborhood.
