Hell’s Kitchen is located on Manhattan’s Westside, extending from the Hudson River east to 8th Avenue. It is bordered by the neighborhoods of Lincoln Square to the North and Chelsea to the South. For over a hundred years, this neighborhood was a hotbed of Irish mob activity. In fact, the famous musical West Side Story is based on happenings in this neighborhood.
Over the last 40 years, Hell’s Kitchen has been cleaned up and gentrified. Now it is a foodie haven, host to many Off-Broadway theatre productions, and known for its lively LGBTQ+ friendly nightlife. The neighborhood also houses many television studios and performance venues, including the studio that tapes The Daily Show.
If you’re a foodie, you can’t miss the chance to eat your way through Hell’s Kitchen. You’ll find eateries specializing in cuisines from around the world, from Caribbean and French to Ethiopian, Mexican, and everywhere in between. Like most neighborhoods in New York City, Hell’s Kitchen is most-rewarding when explored on foot. Stow your extra bags with a nearby Bounce location so you can stroll freely.

This was my first time using this service and it worked seamlessly. I had no problems at all dropping my bag off at NYC Racquet Sports and it was just as easy picking it up. This location is a couple blocks from Penn Station, so it was perfect for exploring Manhattan for several hours before catching the train to Newark Airport for a late night flight. Will definitely use this service on future trips!
Really excellent service, right around the corner from A/C/E trains at Penn Station in New York. Popular and busy restaurant, too — but no one kept me waiting to drop off or pick up a bag.
This place is awesome, it’s near Macy’s and other souvenir shops, nearby food outlets too and near the Penn station in New York. This is the best place to leave your luggage for last minute shopping before you head to the airport via Penn station. Plus the Employees are very courteous and kind
